Some products really take their starting point in the skills of the craftsmen and women making them. The Gradient carpets series is really one of those products. As I worked on the Horizon carpets a few years back we spent a lot of time and effort in trying to "paint" a carpet motif with wool and viscose. We learned how to control shine, contours, varying pile heights and gradients. What really stuck with me that time was the beauty of the gradient. In a way very minimalistic, but at a closer look incredibly detailed and complex. So, the gradient carpet in "Greens" and "Blues" is really a tribute to the craft that goes into making them.
